Comments: I was recently on a golf weekend in Tamworth in which my father who is based in Liverpool organised. He chose this pub/hotel as our base for the weekend. I have to say, it was a fantastic hotel which for its size, catered for the 26 of us unbelievably well. Food was excellent with so much to choose from. The service was more than efficient and was done with a smile. We were all made to feel comfortable which is very important for a weekend away. Value for money is as good as anything I have come across and I would happily go back and stay again - if only it had a slightly later drinking license! (However, we all drink too much anyway!)

Comments: stayed 12/13th Aug in family room, weekend break at drayton manor with my daughter and 2 grandsons aged 3 and 10 months, travel cot with bedding and high chair provided, staff are so friendly and welcoming,rooms are lovely and clean and comfy.Breakfast and bar meals are luscious,nice outside seating areas, one of the nicest hotels ive stayed in and will definetley be returning, thanks to kerry and her friendly staff.

Comments: We booked accommodation at the Tamworth Arms as a base to pay a return visit to the National Memorial Arboretum Great choice!!! From our arrival on Saturdat until our departure on Monday, nothing was too much trouble for all the staff and this made for a thoroughly enjoyable weekend. Accommodation was first class and all the food was very tasty and very well priced. Great base for the area and we will be making plans for further visits to the

Comments: We have just returned from staying here for a weekend break with the kids. The staff and owner could not do enough for us and we were made to feel very welcome. The family room was lovely and despite being within pub grounds there was no noise. We would definetly return here and would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to visit around this area. Drayton Manor was a 5 minute drive away which makes the location excellent.

Comments: Well were do I start!! THANK YOU TO KERRY & IAN AND ALL STAFF who are so welcoming at the Bottom house(as its localy known) I came up on the 15,2,11,with my daughter and granddaughter to visit my dad on his birthday, it wasn't a happy time as my dad passed away,the staff were amazing!! we were given the family room 12,,the best I've ever stayed in! they even had a travel cot for baby, breakfast was really excellent,if you don't want the full or small version you can choose your own, I was so pleased I booked the same room for the funeral yesterday, YET AGAIN!! excellent service:D this time we had dinner and I would highly recommend it, THE FOOD IS OUTSTANDING and so is the PRICE!! (cheap) If I come up to Tamworth again I wont hesitate,ill be staying here, THANK YOU TO KERRY AND IAN AND ALL THE STAFF for making this sad time feel easer

Comments: Thank you very much for making us so welcome and looking after us so well over the last two days. My son and I had a very comfortable two nights in a lovely room with a very comfy bed and lovely big warm duvet! I have to say that your staff are wonderful and do all they can and more to help. The food in the pub was delicious and I felt was also low in price. Whenever we go away in this country I always go home feeling ripped off but not this time. We will be back! Thank you.

Comments: EXCELLENT BED AND BREAKFAST WITHIN A PUBLIC HOUSE When I approached the bar in the Tamworth Arms I received the warmest of welcomes, even at what was a very busy time in the pub. It was no trouble for the manager to take me to my room and show me around. The single room that I had booked was a little compact but had all that you needed (might be a little small for long stays). The had a compact but functional en suite shower room, a great large flat screen free view TV, desk (lacking a chair) and the normal tea and coffee etc. Everything was spotlessly clean. The bar was friendly and busy, had Sky Sports etc, served food but I dined elsewhere when I stayed so unable to comment. Breakfast was in the pub, very nice. The Tamworth Arms is on the edge of the town, on a busy room which was a little noisy but not a problem. I will definitely be going back.

Comments: Hiya Kerry, Ian, Karl and the rest of the gang. Thank you so much for all the love and attention we got whilst we stayed with you this August from Friday 20th for 7 brilliant nights. Kerry was getting the accommodation done up and boy is it fab. We have two boys aged 8 and 6 years and they couldnt have been more at home. We had an absolute ball in Tamworth and the Tamworth Arms made it all worth while - homely, friendly atmosphere with laughs included. All the staff were wonderful and we couldnt have been better looked after. The food is fantastic and we didnt need to go anywhere else and we tried loads on the menu -first class. We will definitely be back and have been telling all our friends and family to book their holidays here. The location is excellent for all family attractions and we even did West Midlands Safari which was an hour drive plus Tycross Zoo, Drayton Manor, the Snowdome, Bowling at Strykers, Cinema and a few good footie clubs - Aston Villa (No1) and Coventry and Tamworth FC to name a few. We will miss our friends at the Tamworth Arms but will definitely see them again. Dawn, Ally, Thomas and Christopher (Aston Villas No1 Fan LOL)

Comments: Stayed for 4 nights (July 2010) in a recently refurbished room. Everything was very clean & well presented. The staff are polite, friendly & keen to help. The food is worthy of particular mention (we can highly recommend the 'home made steak & ale pie') & it was a pity we did not have more time to try the whole menu. With a cooked breakfast included in the room price, you'll be hard pushed to get a better deal. All-in-all, extremely good value for money. I would very much recommend this hotel. Comments: a truly fantastic pub,and very friendly staff who made my wife,my children and myself very welcome during our recent 8 day stay.it was such a pleasure,in fact we just had to make another booking whilst we were there,yes it was that good !nothing was to much trouble for any member of staff,and we found the accomadation very roomy and comfortable,and very quiet considering we were at a public house,and the breakfast very filling,with lots of choice!this enjoyable stay was a credit to all who own and work at the tamworth arms (the bottom house!)well done to all,we certainly recommend it to all visitors to the tamworth area.thank you all so much.

Comments: We stayed here on our wedding night after a room was booked by friends without us knowing. The room was very nice and cosy although the shower wasn't quite big enough. A Full cooked English Breakfast was excellent the next morning.
